Due to changing needs and technologies, the SMT Executive Board has decided to retire SMT Discuss (effective Nov. 9, 2021). Posts will be preserved for archival purposes, but new posts and replies are no longer permitted.
Finn Upham (twitter handle: @finneco) is developing a new podcast called So Strangely Podcast (@SoStrangelyPod). According to the blurb, "New Podcast on recent research in #MusicScience, sharing the how and why of what we have learned across disciplines. Launching in 2018." Hope this helps. -Hubert
Sam, this is more a response to your May 10 smt-announce message than to this SMT-discuss request, but I've maintained for almost five years a music-theory-themed blog at musicellanea.blogspot.com, where I post one item every month. Some of the posts piggyback on videos from my YouTube video channel, which has other music-theory-related videos not cross-referenced by the blog.

Wonderful, thanks, Hubert!
I'll be sure to include it in my Guide to Social Media Music Theory, coming soon to a computer near you.
