listening assessment tool
I received this inquiry below from a colleague in the department of psychology at my institution. Can someone help steer me in the right direction to help him out? Thanks!
I am looking for an assessment tool that measures a listener's description of the emotional, structural, psychophysical and/or contextual (ecological) aspects of a musical piece that account for his/her liking the piece. I have found a few tools like the Music Experiences Questionnaire, the Motives for Listening to Music Questionnaire (MLMQ) and the Short Test of Music Preferences, though none are exactly what I'm looking for.

Hi Mike, I think you would be very interested in Isaac Malitz's work/model on this subject. He is a member of SMT and his model is called the "OMS" model.
